AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

• Take ownership of significant development tasks and solution delivery from inception to deployment, including user experience.

• Understanding of Software Engineering Fundamentals — you are proficient in JavaScript or Python and have a good understanding of the other. You grasp service and codebase design principles and are dedicated to honing your skills.

• Proficient in AI-Native Development Workflow — you utilize tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar on a daily basis. You know how to leverage an LLM to generate production-quality code, rather than just serving as a typing assistant.

• Familiarity with Cloud Fundamentals — some experience with cloud services and deployments is necessary.

• Frontend Awareness — while you don’t need to be a designer, you should possess an understanding of frontend concepts, an eye for UI aesthetics, and the AI knowledge to integrate these elements into a cohesive webpage.

• Nice to Have

• Experience in Agentic Development — you have launched applications that rely on LLMs for essential application functions. You are knowledgeable about tools, MCP, context engineering, and are acquainted with LLM APIs and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or custom orchestration using the Anthropic SDK.

• Cloud Experience — experience with GCP is preferred, specifically with Cloud Run, Firestore/Postgres, Pub/Sub, IAM — these are the core services. Experience with AWS or Azure is transferable if you have practical deployment experience.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code — you should be comfortable using Terraform or similar tools.

• Design Sensibility — you possess the ability to create a UI that is not only functional but also visually appealing.
