AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement production-ready AI systems that yield measurable business outcomes.

• Deploy machine learning models, inference services, and associated APIs.

• Assist in the creation of training, evaluation, and deployment workflows.

• Construct data ingestion and feature engineering components that adhere to established architecture.

• Guarantee the reliability, performance, and stability of AI services in operational settings.

• Work in collaboration with senior engineers to transition research prototypes into operational systems.

• Establish evaluation metrics and validation procedures.

• Aid in the rollout and iteration of AI features driven by performance analytics.

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to implement AI-enhanced features.

• Engage in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.

• Contribute to the documentation and uphold shared engineering standards.

• Clearly communicate progress, obstacles, and potential risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or practical machine learning applications.

• Proven experience in building and deploying ML models within production environments.

• Strong foundation in software engineering (Python or equivalent).

• Knowledgeable in distributed systems and scalable data processing techniques.

• Experience in contributing to ML pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Familiarity with MLOps principles (model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD).

• Capacity to troubleshoot issues across model, application, and infrastructure tiers.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills within technical teams.
