This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Designing and implementing AI-driven solutions that automate business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Developing production-ready Generative AI applications, featuring LLM-powered functionalities, AI Agents, copilots, and orchestration layers.
• Creating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and intelligent AI workflows.
• Constructing and integrating AI agents and multi-agent systems using contemporary orchestration frameworks.
• Designing APIs and microservices to expose AI capabilities across enterprise applications.
• Integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, ITSM, Data Warehouses, Identity platforms, and observability tools.
• Deploying and managing AI workloads on Microsoft Azure, utilizing Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and related services.
• Extending and integrating Microsoft 365 Copilot and developing custom copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Implementing AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices, including prompt injection protection, data classification, audit logging, and RBAC.
• Contributing to Proof of Concepts, pilots, and the industrialization of AI solutions into production environments.
• Monitoring AI systems, applying MLOps practices, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 1–2 years delivering AI/ML or Generative AI solutions in production.
• Proven experience in building enterprise AI applications utilized by actual users.
• Strong expertise in: Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Orchestration Frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI services, such as: Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI Search.
• Experience in extending or integrating Microsoft 365 Copilot and developing solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Strong Python development skills, including testing, packaging, typing, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Good understanding of MLOps concepts, including experiment tracking, model and prompt versioning, automated evaluation, and production monitoring.
• Experience working with multiple LLM providers and adapting solutions across various AI platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, governance, and AI best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
