This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop Apheris’ AI-driven internal data infrastructure
• Establish a cohesive data layer encompassing: Meeting transcripts, Email and Slack communications, CRM and account details, Confluence, Product documentation, Selected external signals
• Design practical data pipelines, schemas, and retrieval systems optimized for LLM access
• Ensure that information is organized, queryable, and dependable for subsequent workflows
• Construct agentic workflows and internal AI systems
• Create and implement agentic workflows and LLM interfaces utilized daily by teams
• Provide tangible, high-impact use cases such as: Pre-meeting briefings with account context and suggested actions, Automated debriefs and follow-ups, Extraction of customer feedback into structured product insights, Cross-functional visibility into discussions and decisions
• Establish fail-safes, rollback mechanisms, and continuous testing to fortify systems against errors and unsafe behavior
• 2–4 years of experience in applied AI, data systems, or developing internal agentic tools within high-performance environments
• Strong practical experience with: LLMs and retrieval-augmented systems
• Agent frameworks and orchestration
• Workflow automation across multiple platforms
• Experience setting up secure execution environments (e.g., automated spawning of isolated, security-hardened runtimes for non-destructive agent operations)
• Solid data engineering skills, including: Designing and maintaining data pipelines (batch and real-time)
• Building and managing structured data layers (e.g., event stores, data warehouses, vector databases)
• Integrating and normalizing data across diverse sources (CRM, Slack, email, docs, product systems)
• Ensuring data quality, observability, and reliability for downstream AI systems
• Exceptional execution focus and entrepreneurial spirit
• Experience constructing agentic workflows in real-world environments (not solely experiments) – particularly, experience with integrating various data sources
• Familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, Pi (OpenClaw), or similar agent systems
• Experience with integration across communication tools, documentation systems, and internal platforms
• Strong engineering and product acumen, along with a high standard for quality, speed, and ownership
• Adaptability to shift between topics and collaborate with various internal teams
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
