This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• As an AI Engineer at Aceve, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and implementing the internal AI solutions that drive our digital transformation across the group’s portfolio companies.
• You will oversee the entire lifecycle of internal AI products — from collaborating with business stakeholders during the scoping phase to deployment and ongoing enhancement.
• Create and develop AI agents, automation solutions, and LLM integrations that address real operational challenges within ACEVE Group’s portfolio companies.
• Collaborate with business teams to grasp their workflows, pinpoint high-impact AI opportunities, and convert them into functional solutions.
• Refine deployed solutions based on practical usage and feedback, ensuring their adoption and continuous enhancement.
• Contribute to a unified engineering foundation — focusing on reusable components, patterns, and best practices that can scale across the group.
• Assess and recommend new AI tools, models, and frameworks that could elevate Aceve’s internal capabilities.
• Clearly document your solutions so that business teams and colleagues can comprehend, maintain, and further develop them.
• Assist the AI Champions network by providing technical guidance and conducting pair-building sessions, aiding colleagues across departments in implementing AI in their daily tasks.
• Conduct occasional hands-on or remote workshops when deep technical expertise is required, while also gathering user feedback from ACEVE’s various markets.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in building and deploying AI or software engineering solutions within a professional setting.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline — or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Strong expertise with LLM APIs and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex) along with the capability to create production-ready integrations.
• Experience in developing automations or AI agents that interact with actual business systems and data.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with non-technical stakeholders — capable of scoping problems, explaining trade-offs, and managing expectations.
• A proactive approach to delivering solutions — you prioritize implementing solutions that are actively utilized over merely functioning ones.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across European and Nordic time zones, with occasional travel to Aceve offices.
• Flexible work arrangements
• Professional development opportunities
