AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will design and manage AI-native features from inception to deployment, emphasizing quality, safety, latency, and cost-effectiveness.

• You will create intelligent applications and chatbots that incorporate tool usage, stateful workflows, and (multi-)agent orchestration.

• You will set standards and best practices for the development, evaluation, and deployment of AI systems.

• You will collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• You will play an active role in shaping experimentation workflows and making strategic decisions regarding the long-term AI roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in data science, machine learning, or software engineering, including current hands-on experience in AI engineering and the LLM domain.

• Proficient in Python with experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Familiarity with evaluation, monitoring, and robust production pipelines.

• Experience with agentic systems, chatbots, and tool-using agents, along with knowledge of multi-agent architectures.

• Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and contemporary orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain.

• Preferably, experience with compliance issues, security/privacy-by-design principles, and a DevOps/SRE mindset—including familiarity with modern machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
