AI Data Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and assessing the performance of AI models or algorithms by analyzing their output or behavior through a series of evaluative questions.

• Labeling specific elements within a piece of content rather than the content as a whole.

• Assigning predefined categories or labels to various items.

• Assessing the perceived quality and/or suitability of content.

• Generating labels to enhance understanding of concepts, trends, etc.

• Creating additional training data for machine learning models by applying transformations to original data, such as modifying images (rotation, flipping, cropping), generating new text (paraphrasing, summarization), or altering audio/video signals (speed modification, pitch shifting) to minimize overfitting and enhance dataset diversity.

• Reviewing data to determine if a product feature functions as intended according to project guidelines.

• Labeling model outputs to establish whether a piece of content meets specific criteria. Examples include identifying clickbait, gaming videos, or branded content.

• Organizing or ranking items based on predetermined preferences or criteria.

• Developing prompts or questions intended to elicit responses from a language model or other AI systems.

• Engaging in projects that assess content relevance according to a relevancy scale (1-3, 1-5, etc.).

• Producing responses to prompts or questions using a language model or other AI system.

• Rewriting existing text while maintaining the original meaning, often to enhance clarity, style, and compliance with guidelines.

• Creating concise summaries of longer texts or datasets.

• Transcribing spoken language or audio content into written form.

• Translating text or spoken language from one language to another.

• Collecting and compiling various data forms to be utilized for training, evaluating, or fine-tuning AI models. This may encompass text, images, videos, audio files, or other digital content.

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a humanities specialization is essential. Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are highly preferred.

• Professional or expert-level proficiency (C1/C2) in English.
