This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop and implement AI Security Governance Frameworks: Author, implement, and uphold the bank's enterprise-wide AI Security Policy. Ensure alignment of our internal AI governance with international standards (such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs) while meticulously adhering to the evolving regulations of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and the Egyptian Data Protection Law.
• Design and implement Cybersecurity Controls: Architect, enforce, and validate both technical and administrative security controls specifically designed for the entire AI/ML lifecycle (Data Ingestion, Training, Deployment, and Inference). This encompasses establishing robust defenses against data poisoning, model inversion, prompt injection, and unauthorized data exfiltration.
• Secure MLOps Framework: Define reference architectures and establish secure protocols for our Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) pipelines. Ensure that security measures, vulnerability assessments, and model integrity checks are seamlessly integrated into our continuous deployment processes.
• Advanced AI Threat Modeling and Risk Evaluation: Direct comprehensive risk assessments and threat-modeling initiatives for all proprietary and third-party AI implementations. Identify structural risks in algorithmic logic, training data pipelines, and API integrations, translating technical risks into understandable business governance metrics.
• Governance of Third-Party and Vendor AI: Create and implement stringent cybersecurity assessment frameworks for evaluating third-party AI solutions, cloud-hosted models, and external vendors, ensuring compliance with the bank’s rigorous data privacy and control standards.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Cybersecurity Architecture or IT Risk Governance, including at least 3+ years specifically focused on securing AI/ML systems and developing enterprise governance frameworks.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulated financial institution in Egypt, with a detailed understanding of CBE cybersecurity circulars, auditing standards, and banking compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated success in designing, developing, and implementing intricate cybersecurity control frameworks from the ground up. Strong familiarity with traditional frameworks (NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001) as well as modern AI-specific safeguards is essential.
• Comprehensive conceptual and practical knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure, including neural networks, LLM orchestration layers, vector databases, and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments). The ability to communicate effectively with both data scientists and enterprise security engineers is crucial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Preferred elite security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP), along with any specialized AI security qualifications.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities. The capacity to convey complex AI risks to C-suite executives and board members while retaining the technical credibility to influence data science teams. Fluency in English is required.
• Competitive, market-leading salary package
• Clear career progression opportunities along with professional development initiatives
