This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Observe employees, carry out structured interviews, and witness workflows directly to pinpoint repetitive, high-value knowledge work.
• Record comprehensive processes: steps involved, frequency, time allocation, data utilized, decision points, and transitions.
• Determine which elements in a process can be fully automated (using AI or software), which require human verification, and which should remain manual.
• Measure the value of each automation potential (time saved, reduction in errors, increase in throughput) to assist the team in effective prioritization.
• Organize the backlog of automation possibilities, collaborating with the AI team leader to determine the sequence of development.
• Oversee submissions from the automation request portal, where employees throughout the organization propose their ideas for AI-driven enhancements.
• Monitor adoption and impact post-deployment of automations, identifying successes and areas needing adjustments.
• Recognize trends across departments: if three teams encounter the same bottleneck, it represents one reusable solution rather than three unique projects.
• Over 3 years of experience in roles centered on business process analysis, operational improvement, or workflow optimization.
• Proven experience collaborating across various departments or business units, rather than confined to a single area.
• Background in organizations undergoing mergers, integrations, or significant operational transformations.
• Familiarity with process mining, value stream mapping, or comparable structured discovery techniques.
• Experience in managing or participating in an internal automation request intake process.
• Competitive benefits and compensation package.
