AI Business Analysis Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct a thorough examination of how employees at Neumo perform their tasks.

• Observe workflows firsthand, shadow staff, and carry out structured interviews to pinpoint significant, recurring knowledge work.

• Record comprehensive end-to-end processes, including steps, frequency, time invested, data involved, decision points, and handoffs.

• Determine which aspects of a process can be entirely automated (via AI or software), which require human verification, and which should remain manual.

• Assess the value of each automation opportunity in terms of time savings, error reduction, and increased throughput.

• Prioritize the queue of automation opportunities effectively.

• Oversee the intake from the automation request portal.

• Monitor adoption and impact following the deployment of automations.

• Recognize patterns that emerge across various departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a position concentrating on business process analysis, operational enhancement, or workflow optimization.

• Experience collaborating across different departments or business units rather than being confined to a single area.

• Background with companies undergoing mergers, integrations, or significant operational transformations.

• Proficiency in process mining, value stream mapping, or analogous structured discovery techniques.

• Experience in managing or contributing to an internal intake process for automation requests.

• Proven ability to map intricate, multi-step processes and identify automation possibilities within them.

• Strong skills in interviewing and observation.

• Capability to quantify the effects of process modifications (time, cost, error rates, throughput).

• Clear and concise documentation proficiency.

• Comfort in dealing with uncertainty.

• Understanding of AI capabilities at a conceptual level.

• Experience in gov-tech, SaaS, or enterprise software settings.

• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.

• Engineering or coding expertise.
