This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Explore how individuals at Neumo engage in their work, document findings, and pinpoint processes for AI automation.
• Navigate through each department and product suite to create a workflow map.
• Develop a prioritized roadmap for automation opportunities.
• Collaborate directly with department leaders, frontline staff, and the AI team to determine high-impact initiatives.
• Observe employees, carry out structured interviews, and analyze workflows to uncover repeated, high-value knowledge tasks.
• Document end-to-end processes, including steps, frequency, time investment, data involved, decision points, and transitions.
• Categorize process steps for automation, human verification, or manual execution.
• Assess the value of automation opportunities to enable effective prioritization.
• Oversee requests from the automation intake portal.
• Monitor adoption and impact once automations are implemented.
• Recognize patterns across departments for scalable solutions.
• Minimum of 3 years in a role centered on business process analysis, operational enhancement, or workflow optimization.
• Experience collaborating across various departments or business units, rather than being confined to a single area.
• Background in a company undergoing a merger, integration, or significant operational transformation.
• Proficiency in process mining, value stream mapping, or similar structured discovery techniques.
• Experience managing or participating in an internal automation request intake process.
• Proven ability to map intricate, multi-step processes and identify automation prospects within them.
• Excellent interviewing and observational skills, with the capability to quantify the impact of process modifications (time, cost, error rate, throughput).
• Strong documentation skills. Your process maps and opportunity evaluations will be key deliverables.
• Comfort with uncertainty; you will be investigating areas within the company that lack existing process documentation.
• Understanding of AI capabilities at a conceptual level, including what LLMs can and cannot do, the nature of agentic workflows, and potential automation pitfalls.
• Experience in gov-tech, SaaS, or enterprise software settings.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other project management tools.
• Engineering or coding competencies. This position emphasizes process expertise and discovery, with a focus on AI/ML technical knowledge.
