This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, VPs, clinical leaders, and operations managers to uncover ambiguous, high-value challenges and convert them into AI opportunities.
• Establish minimum viable AI solutions, chart processes, pinpoint AI-driven efficiencies, and create scoping documents along with ROI evaluations.
• Design and construct AI prototypes within days using Claude and contemporary AI development tools.
• Develop comprehensive AI applications incorporating LLM orchestration, RAG, agentic workflows, REST API integrations, data pipelines, and lightweight front ends.
• Take ownership of technical architecture from prompt design through user interface, articulating design choices to both technical and business audiences.
• Iterate based on authentic user feedback towards production-level solutions.
• Collaborate with the AI Governance team to validate and enhance prototypes for enterprise deployment.
• Implement responsible AI practices, which include bias assessment, explainability, HIPAA compliance, audit logging, and model monitoring.
• Document solutions for handoff, scalability, and maintenance; contribute reusable patterns to Brillio's AI accelerator library.
• Engage in client business rhythm meetings, sprint reviews, steering committees, and executive updates.
• Showcase progress through live demonstrations and functional software; convey technical concepts to business leaders.
• Identify blockers, dependencies, and risks; cultivate healthcare domain expertise and trusted relationships with clients.
• Share insights from client engagements with Brillio's applied AI community.
• Over 8 years of direct, hands-on experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in health insurance operations or clinical and operational workflows within health systems.
• Proven experience utilizing the Claude API for prompt engineering, tool utilization, and agentic application development.
• Capability to independently create and deploy end-to-end full-stack AI applications.
• Familiarity with LLM integration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic orchestration, REST API development, and lightweight front-end interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to transition from a business discussion to a functioning AI prototype within a few days.
• Proficient in articulating solutions, costs, value, and next steps clearly to healthcare executives without using jargon.
• Experience in participating in steering committees, executive briefings, and business rhythm meetings.
• Skill in structuring ambiguous business problems into well-defined AI opportunities with clear inputs, outputs, and success criteria.
• Strong quantitative skills related to ROI and impact assessment, including estimating time saved, costs reduced, or revenue safeguarded.
• Preference for hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar agentic AI frameworks.
• Working knowledge of HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, claims data structures, HIPAA, CMS regulations, and FDA digital health guidelines.
• Preferred experience in forward-deployed, embedded, startup environments, health insurance technology, health systems, reusable AI platforms, AI accelerators, or enterprise AI governance initiatives.
• Familiarity with model risk management, bias evaluation, audit logging, and frameworks for enterprise AI governance.
