AI Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design and construct the backend infrastructure that supports the Traia.io AI Agent runtime.

• Create and sustain multi-agent orchestration systems along with autonomous workflows.

• Develop infrastructure for agent runtimes, tool execution, memory management, and task coordination.

• Integrate MCP servers, tools, skills, and external execution environments seamlessly.

• Craft secure deployment architectures for AI agents, incorporating sandboxing and containerized runtimes.

• Construct scalable APIs, queues, event-driven systems, and layers for real-time communication.

• Work collaboratively with AI engineers and infrastructure teams to define the future of autonomous systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive backend engineering experience with Python.

• Proven experience in developing AI agents, autonomous workflows, orchestration systems, or multi-agent architectures.

• Familiarity with agent runtimes like OpenClaw, Hermes, or other comparable frameworks is a significant advantage.

• Strong grasp of distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure deployment architectures.

• Experience with MCP servers, tool invocation systems, RAG pipelines, or AI-enhanced execution frameworks.

• In-depth understanding of security, isolation, scalability, and performance trade-offs in autonomous systems.

• Background in designing backend systems for task execution, workflow orchestration, or event-driven architectures.
