AI Automation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the AI automation strategy throughout the organization

• Analyze and redesign comprehensive processes to reveal automation possibilities

• Recognize and prioritize high-impact leverage points (20/80)

• Create or coordinate AI agents, LLM workflows, and automation frameworks (RAG, APIs, pipelines)

• Establish governance, monitoring, and performance frameworks for AI technologies

• Promote cross-departmental adoption across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Data

• Guide technical decision-making, balancing innovation with scalability and reliability

• Set KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems to evaluate effectiveness

• Enhance workflows to speed up time-to-production (2x efficiency)

• Build, mentor, and expand a high-performing AI team

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience leading high-performance technology teams in dynamic settings

• Extensive experience with AI/ML systems (LLMs, APIs, automation workflows, MLOps)

• Demonstrated capability to design scalable architectures and distributed systems

• Practical experience with tools like LangChain, AWS, FastAPI, Node.js, or equivalent

• Strong systems thinking with the ability to link technology to business results

• Data-driven mindset with a background in defining and monitoring KPIs and performance indicators

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapidly changing environments

• Excellent communication skills, adept at translating complex AI concepts into business value

• Strong sense of ownership, prioritization (20/80), and execution capabilities
