This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Allocate dedicated resources for agent development — directly contributing to the creation of AI agents that enhance our security initiatives, including certifications, risk management, and compliance.
• Build and sustain the infrastructure necessary for agent workflows, such as retrieval, context delivery, and coordination among agents.
• Collaborate with team members to transform business requirements into data-driven, agent-ready solutions that minimize manual tasks and enhance decision-making speed.
• Design and implement MCP pattern integrations that allow security agents to engage with data systems, tools, and APIs in a structured and scalable manner.
• Take ownership of the design, deployment, and maintenance of ETL and agent-oriented data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data from various sources to our data lakehouse and downstream agent consumers.
• Ensure the implementation of data security, privacy, and governance across all pipelines and data surfaces accessible to agents.
• Continuously monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data infrastructure, pipelines, and agents to enhance efficiency, accuracy, speed, and scalability in support of real-time agent operations.
• Mentor fellow engineers on data engineering, MCP patterns, and principles of agent-native design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 8 years of professional experience in Automation Engineering and Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, C++, or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience in developing and managing production workflows involving AI, agents, and MCPs.
• Familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar platforms.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new AI tools and MCP patterns.
• Previous experience with AWS, Terraform, Airflow, and Databricks or comparable large-scale data platforms.
• Strong sense of ownership, self-sufficiency, and an ability to lead in agile, fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated capability to deliver high-impact, large-scale projects with minimal supervision.
