This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Identify high-impact processes. Collaborate with individuals throughout the organization to uncover manual, repetitive, and error-prone tasks, then prioritize them based on their potential for automation.
• Extract workflows from individuals' knowledge and document them clearly. The role primarily involves transforming a general "this is how we do it" into a detailed process suitable for automation.
• Develop the automation. Utilize Python and API integration, manage MCP servers and clients, implement Claude Skills, create agent workflows, and build small services as needed.
• Monitor the systems you deploy to ensure they function correctly. Implement logging, set up alerts for malfunctions, and establish methods to verify the automation's continued effectiveness.
• Foster user adoption. Encourage non-technical teams to trust and utilize the solutions you've created, provide training, and maintain close contact post-launch to ensure successful integration.
• Recognize when to escalate issues. If an automation project needs to evolve into a full platform, transition it to the backend team instead of adding unnecessary components. Understanding where this boundary lies is essential to the role.
• You have successfully automated complete business processes, from identifying the core issue to daily user implementation. We would like to see examples of your work and the resulting efficiencies gained.
• You are adept at engaging with non-technical teams. You can articulate a workflow, challenge misplaced priorities, and advocate for new methodologies to individuals who are not programmers.
• You possess coding skills. Proficient in Python, APIs, and scripting, you can independently create automation solutions without relying on an engineer for every task.
• You are well-versed in the agentic toolchain (Claude Cowork, Skills, MCP, workflow tools), or you can quickly become proficient in it.
• You actively monitor and maintain your creations. You've experienced the consequences of a silent automation failure and are determined to prevent it from happening again.
• Nice to Have: Experience in a startup environment and the ability to take on multiple roles.
• A background in solutions engineering, technical project management, consulting, or operations engineering with a focus on agentic methodologies.
• Familiarity with classic RPA tools (UiPath and similar). This knowledge is beneficial as some legacy systems and electronic health records can only be accessed through these types of integrations.
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries.
• Proficiency in Spanish, as you will collaborate with internal teams.
• Flexible work arrangements
