AI Automation Engineer – m/w/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze business processes in collaboration with relevant departments and develop concepts for automated implementation.

• Design, test, and implement RPA bots (e.g., using UiPath or similar tools).

• Conceptualize and realize AI-driven agents/workflows (tool-calling, prompting, guardrails, evaluation).

• Maintain, support, and further develop existing bots and workflows.

• Identify potential areas for improvement and continuously optimize automation processes, focusing on stability, quality, and value.

• Interfaces & integrations: create and enhance interfaces for agents (e.g., Agent - SAP (MCP)).

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree or training in the IT field (e.g., (business) informatics, specialist informatics) or a comparable qualification.

• Relevant professional experience in RPA/workflow automation and/or AI-driven workflows/agents.

• Experience in analyzing business processes and creating automation concepts in collaboration with departments.

• Practical experience in the development, testing, and operation of RPA bots (UiPath or comparable), including maintenance/monitoring.

• Experience in implementing AI agents/workflows (tool-calling, prompting, guardrails, evaluation).

• Strong knowledge of interfaces & integrations (REST/JSON, authentication), preferably with SAP integration.

• Solid foundation in software development (e.g., Python/JavaScript), Git, logging/monitoring, and thorough documentation.

• Strong communication skills, structured, and team-oriented – enjoys pragmatic solutions with measurable benefits.

• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
