AI Automation Engineer – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and create concepts for automated implementations.

• Design, test, and deploy RPA bots using tools such as UiPath or similar technologies.

• Create and implement AI-driven agents and workflows, including tool-calling, prompting, guardrails, and evaluations.

• Support, maintain, and enhance existing bots and workflows.

• Discover opportunities for continuous process optimization in automation, emphasizing stability, quality, and value.

• Develop and expand interfaces for agents, such as Agent - SAP (MCP).

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., (business) informatics, IT specialist) or a comparable qualification.

• Relevant professional experience in RPA/workflow automation and/or AI-oriented workflows/agents.

• Proficient in analyzing business processes and collaborating with business units to formulate automation concepts.

• Hands-on experience in the development, testing, and operation of RPA bots (UiPath or analogous tools), including maintenance and monitoring tasks.

• Experience in implementing AI agents/workflows, covering aspects like tool-calling, prompting, guardrails, and evaluations.

• Strong understanding of interfaces and integrations (REST/JSON, authentication), preferably with SAP connectivity.

• A solid foundation in software development (e.g., Python/JavaScript), Git, logging/monitoring, and thorough documentation practices.

• Excellent communication skills, structured thinking, and a team-oriented approach — enjoys developing pragmatic solutions that yield measurable benefits.

• Proficient in German, both spoken and written.
