This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Design and develop multi-agent AI systems that incorporate LLMs for comprehensive customer-facing processes, including email triage, refund processing, escalation logic, and voice bot interactions.
• Create and manage N8N automation workflows, requiring intermediate knowledge of Python and JavaScript for code node scripting.
• Integrate voice AI platforms (such as Retell AI, ElevenLabs, ConnexAI, Vapi, BlindAI, etc.) with custom prompt logic to enhance call bot behavior, customer handling, and multi-step flows.
• Assess and prioritize automation use cases based on their impact on the business, technical complexity, and urgency.
• Guarantee that every automated workflow meets high communication standards, adheres to service level agreements, maintains tone consistency, and ensures operational resilience.
• Define, document, and test REST APIs for integration with CRMs, helpdesk platforms (like Freshdesk), and internal systems across various product versions.
• Conduct initial technical evaluations of integration issues by analyzing API responses, logs, configurations, and system outputs to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive API test suites in Postman and N8N, addressing edge cases and structured regression scenarios.
• Work collaboratively with Development, Product, and QA teams to reproduce, diagnose, and escalate complex technical challenges efficiently and with thorough context.
• Engage in regular meetings with technical leads to pinpoint recurring automation gaps and spearhead process enhancements.
• Create and refine LLM prompts for structured output generation, including JSON schema enforcement, multi-category classification, sentiment analysis, and application reference extraction.
• Troubleshoot and enhance AI pipeline outputs, resolving inconsistencies in model responses.
• Utilize knowledge of AI delegation and orchestration patterns to design dependable, scalable agent workflows.
• Identify ongoing workflow gaps or automation opportunities and propose preventive or optimization measures.
• Contribute to internal technical documentation, API specifications, runbooks, and workflow guides to foster team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in the onboarding and upskilling of new team members regarding automation tools, AI systems, and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives aimed at improving customer experience and streamlining operational workflows.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in AI automation engineering, backend integration, or technical roles within digital or SaaS environments.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining automation workflows in N8N or similar platforms (such as Zapier, Make, etc.).
• Practical experience working with REST APIs — including design, integration, testing, and documentation. Experience in building APIs is a plus.
• Desirable: A background in Customer Service or Support operations is advantageous, providing valuable context for automation design.
• In-depth understanding of REST API design principles, including HTTP semantics (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH), status codes, request/response structuring, and versioning.
• Proficiency with N8N: including webhook debugging, dynamic base URL configuration, and AI node integration.
• Experience with CRM platforms like ZenDesk, HelpScout, Freshdesk, or LiveAgent, as well as customer support tools for API integration.
• Strong expertise in prompt engineering and Generative AI (LLMs), including developer-level experience with Claude (Sonnet, Opus), GPT, and comparable models.
• Proficient in using Postman for API testing, test suite management, and environment configuration.
• Familiarity with voice AI platforms such as Vapi, Bland AI, ElevenLabs, ConnexAI, Retell AI, or equivalents for developing call AI Agents.
• Solid understanding of JSON data structures, API response parsing, and structured output validation.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and Python.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration frameworks (such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) or a scholarly interest in AI delegation patterns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and structured approach to debugging automation pipelines and integration issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (advanced level; interviews will be conducted in full English); Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to work independently while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technical leads, product managers, and support operations.
