AI Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will be an integral part of a high-performing, cross-functional team tasked with modernizing essential enterprise systems through intelligent automation, AI-driven infrastructure, agentic AI workflows, and secure, scalable deployment pipelines.

• You will design comprehensive automation solutions from the ground up, incorporating AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and intelligent tooling across all layers of the stack.

• You will identify opportunities to leverage AI for ongoing enhancement and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field in Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics is required.

• Additionally, 5+ years of relevant work experience is necessary, or a Master's degree with 3 years of job-related experience.

• Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred.

• Hands-on skills in deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes and automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible within an AIOps environment are required.

• Proven track record in building end-to-end automation solutions utilizing tools such as GitLab CI, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Experience in constructing and managing CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, utilizing GitLab CI and AI-driven tools to automate testing, deployment, and operational workflows.

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect authentication processes within MCP servers, including token management, scoped permissions, and secure delegation of access to downstream services.

• Experience in working with or deploying AI/ML models, LLM-based assistants, and agentic frameworks in production or operational settings.

• A strong understanding of AIOps principles, with operational intelligence integrated at every layer, is essential.
