Senior TechOps – Release Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete operations of DevHome, including partner onboarding assistance and release implementation.

• Coordinate release activities for both Android and iOS platforms while addressing operational escalations pertaining to partner access.

• Implement secure production modifications and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.

• Analyze and respond to production incidents utilizing Datadog, Kibana, and comprehensive system troubleshooting techniques.

• Assist in infrastructure lifecycle tasks and create automation scripts along with internal tools.

• Play a role in on-call preparedness, conduct RCA follow-ups, enhance SOPs, and collaborate with cross-functional partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in TechOps, DevOps, SRE, release engineering, platform support, or related operational engineering roles.

• Proficiency in Go (Golang) with the capability to safely navigate and alter a large shared monorepo.

• Comfortable working across both application and operational layers.

• Experience in release operations, management of production changes, feature deployments, and mobile app launches.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to evaluate growth and pinpoint root causes.

• Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.

• Practical experience with Terraform and AWS.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS.

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), token flows, HMAC, and secret management.

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secret and token management systems.

• Background in investigating operational issues using Datadog, Kibana, logs, and production telemetry.

• Experience in developing internal administration tools, workflow automation, approval systems, Slack bots, or similar operational tools.

• Strong partner management skills and a sense of empathy.

• Experience in supporting external-facing partner or developer platforms.
