AI Audit Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Directly perform and oversee audit procedures, encompassing planning, execution, and documentation.

• Assess and verify AI-generated audit procedures, workpapers, and documentation.

• Detect gaps, errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases within AI-generated audit outputs.

• Create quality review frameworks, checklists, and methodologies tailored for AI-assisted audits.

• Work closely with engineering and product teams to enhance AI accuracy, reliability, and audit-awareness.

• Convert hands-on audit experience into actionable feedback that influences product decisions and AI workflows.

• Stay current with professional standards (GAAS, PCAOB, IAASB) to ensure compliance in all outputs.

• Record best practices and aid in the development of internal knowledge bases.

• Establish ongoing feedback loops that enhance AI performance over time.

• Directly interact with clients on audit methodology inquiries and assist in interpreting AI-generated content.

• Manage client relationships and deadlines, guaranteeing that audit deliverables are completed accurately and punctually — coordinating with both internal and client teams to maintain engagement timelines.

• Be ready to assist wherever necessary — client calls, QA, research, workpaper reviews — to ensure seamless execution.

• 5–7 years of audit experience with a solid foundation in audit methodology.

• Profound knowledge of audit procedures, workpaper documentation, and relevant standards.

• Ability to execute audit work directly while also evaluating and enhancing the underlying systems.

• Strong analytical abilities coupled with exceptional attention to detail.

• Comfortable utilizing technology, AI tools, and iterative workflows.

• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

• Active CPA, CA, or an equivalent professional certification.
