AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Designs and oversees the Firm’s prompt architecture.

• Develops reusable skill frameworks and workflow templates.

• Creates integration patterns that link AI capabilities with the Firm’s enterprise systems.

• Establishes and curates prompt libraries tailored for specific service lines.

• Offers architectural guidance and technical mentorship to Prompt + Skills Engineers.

• Crafts validated use case playbooks for service line teams.

• Collaborates with service line leaders to pinpoint high-value automation opportunities.

• Assesses AI platforms, tools, and emerging techniques through proof-of-concept testing.

• Sets up testing and validation protocols for AI outputs.

• Records architectural decisions and upholds design standards.

• Works in tandem with Information Security and the AI Governance Council.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in AI/ML, prompt engineering, workflow automation, or solutions architecture.

• Preferred experience at an implementation consultancy, PE-backed firm, or technology organization that supports professional services.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Strong technical expertise in prompt engineering, large language model capabilities, agentic AI workflow design, and system integration.

• Proven track record in constructing reusable, modular AI infrastructure (including prompt libraries, skill frameworks, and workflow templates).

• Experience in evaluating AI output quality, recognizing failure modes, designing guardrails, and developing testing frameworks.

• Quick ability to learn about domains such as Tax, Assurance, Advisory, and Wealth Management workflows.

• Capability to articulate architectural trade-offs to business leaders and produce documentation for junior engineers.
