AI Agent Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Create and develop workflows for AI agents and systems powered by LLMs that cater to real-world business applications.

• Design and implement tools for agents, which include APIs, internal services, databases, knowledge repositories, and operational systems.

• Enhance the quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness of agents through thorough testing, evaluation, and iterative processes.

• Construct prompt structures, orchestration logic, memory or retrieval patterns, and manage human handoff processes when necessary.

• Work collaboratively with product, business, and operations teams to convert vague business challenges into actionable AI solutions.

• Contribute to backend services, internal platforms, and streamlined interfaces to facilitate comprehensive delivery.

• Assist in defining reusable engineering patterns, guardrails, and evaluation methodologies for production-ready AI agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Between 0 to 3 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or relevant internships/projects.

• Proficient programming skills in Java or Python; knowledge of TypeScript or backend development is a plus.

• Strong software engineering acumen, including experience with APIs, debugging, system architecture, and data management.

• A keen interest in LLMs, AI agents, tool utilization, retrieval, evaluation, and production AI systems.

• Capability to rapidly absorb new domains and excel in ambiguous situations.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and enhance AI-generated code, or to acquire this skill quickly.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to connect technical efforts to business outcomes.
