AI Adoption Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Macedonia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the enterprise activation AI strategy, ensuring accountability for AI ecosystem governance, platform, tool, and model activation, along with end-to-end value optimization.

• Evaluate and shape the current AI vendor and platform landscape to uncover value optimization opportunities that align with business priorities, enterprise constraints, and security requirements.

• Establish practical governance, operating models, and guardrails that facilitate responsible AI adoption without introducing unnecessary friction.

• Create frameworks to assess usage, risk, and optimization opportunities throughout our enterprise landscape and workforce.

• Keep track of emerging AI technologies, market trends, and vendor roadmaps to guide strategic decisions and sustain competitive advantage.

• Collaborate with business leaders to support decision-making and connect it with enterprise IT execution.

• Serve as a trusted advisor rather than merely a reactive order taker.

• Work within and coordinate across IT and cybersecurity teams to minimize unnecessary friction while adhering to a risk-tolerant framework that meets business needs.

• Develop and advocate for pragmatic AI governance models that promote low process friction and high AI adoption.

• Strike a balance between speed, innovation, and security in decision-making processes.

• Foster a cultural shift within IT towards a consultative, business-enabling mindset.

• Challenge traditional control-driven behaviors that hinder innovation.

• Influence stakeholders at various levels without relying solely on authority.

• Educate both business and IT teams on AI opportunities, risks, and strategies for mitigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of leading AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, AWS, Anthropic, etc.) and their applications in enterprise settings.

• 8–12+ years of experience in IT, digital transformation, or technology consulting.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing AI or advanced analytics solutions within an enterprise context.

• Strong grasp of enterprise IT operations and cybersecurity practices.

• Experience in professional services or consulting environments is highly preferred.

• In-depth familiarity with the AI ecosystem (LLMs, copilots, automation tools, etc.).

• Exceptional ability to navigate and influence complex organizations.

• Outstanding communication skills—capable of bridging the gap between technical and business audiences.

• Experience in designing governance frameworks that facilitate rather than obstruct innovation.

• A change agent mentality with a proactive approach.

• Pragmatic rather than dogmatic when it comes to risk and controls.

• Comfortable constructively challenging the status quo.

• High credibility with both technical and business stakeholders.
