This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Perform field scouting visits to assess plant establishment, herbicide timing and effectiveness, as well as insect and disease management.
• Execute soil and plant tissue tests, including analysis to provide tailored recommendations.
• Engage in activities related to the Variable Rate process, encompassing mapping, soil sampling, and crop evaluations.
• Conduct analyses during the winter months focusing on fertility and seed recommendations, soil moisture information, and yield metrics.
• Explore and assess potential opportunities to enhance value for our clients.
• Maintain the flexibility to travel as required.
• A post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of agronomy experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required.
• Applicants should be registered or willing to register with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists as outlined by The Agrologists Act.
• Capability to work from a home office when not conducting field activities.
