Agronomist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Communicate soil health principles in a peer-driven, trust-based approach to groups of 5–20 growers.

• Work in partnership with Sales Managers and Soil Health Specialists to provide an exceptional field experience.

• Engage in team meetings, coaching sessions, and cross-functional collaborations to enhance pod success.

• Continually enhance agronomic and sales communication skills through Thrive Hive enablement programs.

• Conduct soil testing, field assessments, and confirm the effectiveness of Holganix products.

• Offer agronomic assistance to our growers using an educational and consultative methodology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and CCA or relevant training is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in agronomic support, agricultural product sales, or roles related to agricultural products.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; capable of effectively engaging with both small and large audiences.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• A proactive self-starter.

• Experience in direct interactions with farmers.

• Willingness and ability to travel regionally.

• A strong passion for sustainable and regenerative agriculture; knowledge of soil health is essential.

• Valid Driver’s License.
