This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.
β’ Develop and implement agentic systems for enterprise workflows β designing and deploying AI agents (and multi-agent systems) that interpret data and execute actions across intricate business processes within enterprise systems.
β’ Create and launch multi-step agentic systems β including planner/executor, tool-using, multi-agent, and human-in-the-loop designs β for applications such as onboarding, underwriting, case review, and ongoing monitoring.
β’ Design orchestration, reasoning, and workflows β structuring how agents plan, utilize tools, and collaborate throughout complex, multi-step processes.
β’ Manage full-stack implementations and integrations β constructing solutions that encompass LLMs, APIs, backend infrastructures, and lightweight user interfaces to deliver comprehensive, functional outcomes.
β’ Guarantee reliability, safety, and readiness for production β establishing guardrails, validation logic, and fallback mechanisms to ensure consistent and trustworthy operations in a production environment.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience through projects, research, internships, or professional roles.
β’ 1β5+ years in software engineering (full-stack or backend), or a strong recent graduate with substantial project or internship experience at a similar level.
β’ Familiarity with LLMs or AI-driven systems.
β’ Internship or research experience in a production AI or data-intensive setting is highly advantageous.
β’ Proficient in Python; comfortable with NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
β’ Practical experience with at least one LLM framework: LangGraph, LangChain, Claude Agent SDK, or OpenAI SDK.
β’ Understanding of RAG architecture: embedding models, vector databases, hybrid search, and reranking techniques.
β’ Knowledge of prompt engineering best practices and an awareness of LLM failure modes (hallucination, injection, drift).
β’ Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
β’ Understanding of Git version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
