Agentic AI Engineer – Co-Op

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design & Develop Agentic Systems: Create intelligent agents that possess the ability to plan autonomously, reason, and execute tasks, frequently utilizing LLMs (like GPT-class, LLaMA), multi-modal models, and independent workflows.

• Orchestration & Frameworks: Implement orchestration for agents utilizing frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or tailor-made solutions.

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Architect and enhance RAG pipelines to improve reasoning capabilities with external knowledge, which includes document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector storage, and retrieval ranking.

• Tool & Memory Integration: Create agents that interact with APIs, databases, and various tools, maintain memory, and adapt based on their outcomes.

• Evaluation & Monitoring: Develop evaluation frameworks to assess accuracy, grounding, latency, and cost; establish observability for agent behaviors and potential failure modes.

• Model Adaptation: Fine-tune or modify foundational models (for instance, through LoRA, adapters) for specific domain applications.

• Production Deployment: Implement GenAI/agentic systems in cloud-native settings, ensuring CI/CD, version control, and runtime protections.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, product teams, and governance/compliance stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in AI/ML system design, deployment, or the development of autonomous agents.

• Strong proficiency in Python (and occasionally Java, C#) for developing AI/ML solutions.

• Experience with frameworks for agent orchestration and protocols for multi-agent communication.

• Practical knowledge of RAG architectures, evaluation techniques, and integration of LLMs.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS) and CI/CD processes.

• An understanding of responsible AI, security, and compliance within regulated fields (for example, retail).
