AEM Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• In the role of Technical Lead – AEM & Edge Delivery Services (EDS), you will be tasked with steering the technical vision, architecture, and excellence in delivery of digital experience platforms utilizing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services.

• You will leverage your extensive backend expertise along with your leadership skills to guide engineering teams in delivering solutions that are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

• Your responsibilities will include playing a crucial role in defining solution architecture, upholding best practices, and mentoring developers, while actively participating in complex implementations.

• You will take ownership of and drive the solution architecture for AEM Cloud Service and EDS implementations.

• You will be responsible for defining technical standards, best practices, and development guidelines.

• You will establish and uphold non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and resiliency.

• You will lead design decisions concerning backend architecture, APIs, and integrations.

• Collaboration with Architects will be necessary to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering.

• 6+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

• 4+ years of experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services (EDS).

• Proven track record in a Technical Lead or Senior Lead position.

• Strong proficiency in: Java (11+/17), Sling, OSGi, JCR, Oak, AEM Core Components, Content Fragments & GraphQL APIs.

• Experience with Universal Editor and EDS delivery models.

• In-depth understanding of: API design (REST/GraphQL), integration patterns & event-driven architectures, and messaging systems (Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
