AEM Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate environments utilizing Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Oversee and manage AEM as a Cloud Service environments, which includes provisioning, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.

• Set up, monitor, and provide support for Apache web servers and AEM Dispatcher configurations.

• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes across development, staging, and production phases.

• Provide guidance to internal and external teams on performance enhancement and operational best practices for AEM.

• Spearhead infrastructure builds for high-availability production environments hosted on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Automate operational processes and improve deployment workflows utilizing Bash, Python, and Groovy.

• Monitor website uptime and performance through tools such as New Relic, Datadog, and Splunk.

• Maintain operational documentation, including disaster recovery runbooks and infrastructure diagrams.

• Engage in incident response and participate in on-call support rotation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5-7 years of experience in DevOps or web operations roles with AEM (v6.5), including AEMaaCS.

• Proficient in AEM migrations, Apache server configurations, and Dispatcher setups.

• Experience in configuring and maintaining CDN/WAF, as well as Adobe Enhanced Security.

• Strong background in Docker and Kubernetes within production settings.

• Proficient in using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.

• Solid experience in Linux/Unix administration.

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell.

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics.

• Understanding of load balancing, clustering, and high-availability architectures.
