This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver senior-level application analysis, design, development, integration, and support for the healthcare transaction platform and associated Medicaid pharmacy systems.
• Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of NCPDP F6 transaction processing solutions.
• Evaluate business and technical requirements and convert them into scalable application designs.
• Create and sustain APIs, interfaces, batch processes, and data integrations.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with Gainwell development standards.
• Assist in defect resolution, root-cause analysis, and management of production issues.
• Work collaboratively with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and client stakeholders.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and provide technical estimates and planning for work.
• Produce technical documentation, support guides, and materials for knowledge transfer.
• Offer off-hours support for night and weekend patching, deployments, and incident response.
• Support and execute vulnerability remediation efforts with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Over 8 years of experience in application development and systems analysis.
• Proficiency in Java, .NET, APIs, SQL, and integration technologies.
• Preferred knowledge in Medicaid, healthcare payer, and EDI transactions, particularly NCPDP.
• Experience with NCPDP is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Must be available to work during core business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time unless otherwise arranged.
• Must provide off-hours support for night and weekend patching, deployments, and incident response.
• All work is to be conducted within the continental United States, including the 48 contiguous states plus Alaska.
