Advanced Project Engineer – Electronics Supplier Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Play a vital role in maintaining the quality and dependability of Electronics suppliers and their associated platforms.

• Accountable for establishing strategic alliances with suppliers, overseeing their performance, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.

• Report directly to the Director of Supplier Development while working remotely to support primarily Northeast US suppliers.

• Contribute to supplier development by leveraging extensive expertise and experience within the organization.

• Enhance supplier performance and ensure that suppliers adhere to the highest quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and/or supplier development, particularly focusing on Printed Wiring Boards and/or other electrical component production, design, engineering, or NPI.

• Expertise in quality management and problem-solving methodologies, including Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and/or Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP/PPAP).

• Familiarity with aerospace standards and practices concerning electronic components and PWB manufacturing.
