This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual patient care while performing duties as allowed by licensure and credentialing documentation.

• Facilitate virtual patient consultations and conduct thorough patient evaluations.

• Order and analyze tests and examinations to inform patient care decisions.

• Identify patient requirements and establish comprehensive care plans.

• Collaborate with the clinical pharmacy team, consulting physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and other healthcare professionals on treatment strategies.

• Administer and supervise patient treatments, ensuring appropriate prescriptive practices.

• Utilize advanced specialty knowledge to provide suitable, efficient, timely, and cost-effective care.

• Ensure prompt clinical documentation and accurate coding and billing processes.

• Educate patients, families, staff, and students as necessary.

• Coordinate and relay patient care information with other medical providers.

• Engage in research and apply evidence-based practices to enhance quality care, protocols, care process models, and best-practice standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Current or ability to secure an APRN license for Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.

• Nurse Practitioner certification with full prescriptive authority in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, or current or ability to obtain a Physician Assistant license in these states.

• Valid certification from a recognized certifying body, such as NCCPA for physician assistants or ANCC/AANP for nurse practitioners.

• Relevant experience as determined by position leadership.

• Eligibility for State Controlled Substance License II through V.

• Eligibility for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.

• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

• Additional certifications as necessary, such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP.

• Proficiencies in patient/acute and chronic care, pharmacology management, patient assessment, implementing treatment plans, computer skills, and effective communication.

• Preferred: Master’s degree or higher.

• Capability to see and read information and labels while assessing patient needs.

• Ability to communicate verbally, hear, and accurately comprehend spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues promptly.

• Manual dexterity to handle intricate and delicate equipment.

• Regular use of a computer for documenting patient care, accessing information, and preparing medications.

• Capacity to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
