• Define the ontologies and metrics for advertisements, including campaigns, budgets, bids, creatives, audiences, and placements.
• Develop dbt models and curated marts in Snowflake, ensuring clear data contracts, testing, and service level objectives (SLOs).
• Ingest and enhance unstructured Ads content, publishing datasets that are ready for retrieval using our managed search and vector services.
• Design and assess retrieval workflows (RAG) utilizing existing services for hybrid search and re-ranking; establish quality and latency targets, iterating through experiments.
• Create reasoning and policy frameworks for agents concerning ads, which includes defining tools and implementing human-in-the-loop approvals.
• Establish comprehensive evaluation suites that cover precision and recall, calibration, hallucination rates, latency, and costs.
• Conduct A/B or uplift experiments to measure impact and inform iterations.
• Transform Ads challenges into agent behaviors and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROAS lift, pacing accuracy, RCA precision/recall, forecast MAPE, and time-to-insight.
• 3–6 years of experience in analytics engineering, data science, or applied AI, with strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Over 2 years of specialized experience in ads, retail, or e-commerce data.
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL, with experience utilizing dbt and Snowflake or BigQuery, including data modeling, testing, and managing data contracts.
• Extensive expertise in orchestrating data pipelines using dbt and Airflow.
• Familiarity with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Mode, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
• Capability to design offline and online evaluations, as well as conduct A/B or uplift tests.
• Comprehensive understanding of Ads analytics concepts such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, LTV, pacing, auction dynamics, and incrementality.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders and a proven history of delivering production data or AI systems that have made a business impact.
• Knowledge of machine learning models to inform recommendations on bids, keywords, and budgets.
• Experience with evaluation frameworks and guardrails, as well as human-in-the-loop quality assurance.
