Adobe Experience Developer – Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, templates, services, and integrations.

• Create front-end and back-end functionalities utilizing Java, HTL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Configure and enhance the AEM content authoring experiences and workflows.

• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance challenges, and production incidents.

• Contribute to technical enhancements, platform upgrades, and ongoing optimization initiatives.

• Serve as the primary technical contact within the Scrum team.

• Support solution design and ensure it aligns with AEM best practices and HBK technical standards.

• Review code and deliverables from external development partners.

• Assist in refining technical requirements and estimating development efforts.

• Identify technical risks and suggest practical solutions.

• Advocate for code quality, maintainability, security, and performance standards.

• Collaborate closely with HBK's Cyber Security team to ensure digital solutions comply with corporate security standards and policies.

• Work together with Cyber Security and Infrastructure teams on authentication, authorization, data protection, and secure integrations.

• Engage in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager.

• Proven experience in developing custom AEM components, templates, and services.

• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service is preferred.

• Strong skills in Java development.

• Solid background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.

• Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs and enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary development practices.

• Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills when interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience collaborating with external development teams or agencies is a plus.
