Admissions - Transcript Verification Student Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Review and validate high school transcripts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to institutional policies.

• Calculate and assess GPA equivalencies.

• Enter data into databases and/or spreadsheets for efficient retrieval, reference, and analysis.

• Manage confidential student information with discretion, security, and integrity.

• Conduct thorough reviews and data entry of transcript information for applicants to UT Austin.

• Complete necessary training and assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin.

• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

• Uphold good academic and judicial standing at the University.

• Handle confidential information with discretion, security, and integrity.

• Must exhibit punctuality, responsibility, and responsiveness.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Capable of critical thinking and problem-solving to analyze data and draw reasonable conclusions.

• Prior experience in reviewing academic records or transcripts is preferred.

• Familiarity with domestic or international education systems is advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or SharePoint.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

• Employee is required to have access to a laptop/PC.

• Employee is required to have a reliable internet connection.

• A criminal history background check will be mandatory for finalist(s).

• If hired, must complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form and provide acceptable original documents that prove identity and authorization to work in the United States.
