This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Instruct remotely for the Writing program throughout the entire academic year.

• Teach courses in academic, technical, and business writing.

• Engage students actively through regular interactions that inspire them to excel.

• Facilitate student collaboration and application of knowledge through problem- and project-based learning experiences.

• Offer detailed, consistent constructive feedback and evaluate student submissions using rubrics.

• Recognize and celebrate student achievements.

• Exhibit relevant and up-to-date subject-matter expertise.

• Assist students in linking concepts across their academic disciplines.

• Provide insights to the program chair regarding potential curricular enhancements.

• Complete the online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 122, as a condition of employment.

• A Master’s degree in English or a related discipline from an accredited institution of higher education.

• Professional background in English or a related area.

• Experience in teaching adult learners online and within higher education is highly preferred.

• Capability to instruct in academic, technical, and business writing.

• Submission of a resume/Curriculum Vitae is mandatory.

• A cover letter is strongly encouraged.

• Applicants with international degrees may need to provide a translation or degree evaluation from a NACES approved vendor.

• Successful completion of the online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 122, as a condition of employment.
