Adjunct Assistant Professor, Nursing – MSN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acting as a mentor, role model, and facilitator who offers guidance and academic support to students.

• Exhibiting enthusiasm for teaching, the teaching/learning process, and for each individual student.

• Utilizing your skills and experience in accordance with your designated teaching schedule.

• Engaging in and contributing to the evaluation activities of courses, curriculum, and programs through a continuous improvement plan established by the University.

• Regularly enhancing class materials and syllabi within the established shared governance culture.

• Implementing a range of teaching methodologies to educate students, always aiming to demonstrate measurable evidence of student achievement of defined learning outcomes.

• Maintaining scholarly activities.

• Participating in professional development and service in alignment with university policies.

• Promoting our commitment and focus on the students we serve and their success as healthcare professionals.

• Fully utilizing our innovative technologies and resources, including our Simulation and Innovation Labs.

⛳️ Requirements

• MSN is required.

• DNP or PhD is required.

• Professional nurse licensure is required.

• Minimum of five (5) years of prior experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.

• At least three years of experience in the field in which they teach.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office applications as necessary.

• Experience with online learning management systems to enhance student engagement in the learning process.

• Compliance with state, federal, and local laws/regulations related to programs, governmental compliance, and other regulatory standards such as those set by the state Board of Nursing.
