This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Acting as a mentor, role model, and facilitator who offers guidance and academic support to students.
β’ Exhibiting enthusiasm for teaching, the teaching/learning process, and for each individual student.
β’ Utilizing your skills and experience in accordance with your designated teaching schedule.
β’ Engaging in and contributing to the evaluation activities of courses, curriculum, and programs through a continuous improvement plan established by the University.
β’ Regularly enhancing class materials and syllabi within the established shared governance culture.
β’ Implementing a range of teaching methodologies to educate students, always aiming to demonstrate measurable evidence of student achievement of defined learning outcomes.
β’ Maintaining scholarly activities.
β’ Participating in professional development and service in alignment with university policies.
β’ Promoting our commitment and focus on the students we serve and their success as healthcare professionals.
β’ Fully utilizing our innovative technologies and resources, including our Simulation and Innovation Labs.
β’ MSN is required.
β’ DNP or PhD is required.
β’ Professional nurse licensure is required.
β’ Minimum of five (5) years of prior experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
β’ At least three years of experience in the field in which they teach.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office applications as necessary.
β’ Experience with online learning management systems to enhance student engagement in the learning process.
β’ Compliance with state, federal, and local laws/regulations related to programs, governmental compliance, and other regulatory standards such as those set by the state Board of Nursing.
