Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform intake assessments to assess Member readiness and identify the suitable level of care needed.

• Lead group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Offer crisis support and coordinate necessary referrals as required.

• Keep timely and precise documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Work together with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and all applicable state laws.

• Candidates must hold a valid license in their respective state, and all credentials must be confirmed through the State Board’s website during the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A current and verifiable license from one of the following Indiana licenses: LCSW, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW, along with your state of residence if it is outside Indiana. All credentials must be validated through the State Board’s website as part of the application process.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.

• Enthusiastic about aiding individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.

• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.

• Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and a reliable internet connection.
