Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Perform intake assessments and assess Member readiness for care.

• Lead virtual individual and group counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Offer crisis support and manage referrals as necessary.

• Ensure timely and precise documentation in the EMR.

• Work alongside clinical supervisors on treatment planning and discharge processes.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and relevant state regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted New Mexico license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LISW, or LADAC).

• Have experience working with populations affected by substance use disorders.

• Be comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms.

• Exhibit strong documentation and organizational abilities.

• Have access to a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with dependable internet.
