Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Perform intake evaluations to assess Member readiness and identify the suitable level of care.

• Lead both group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Offer crisis assistance and coordinate necessary referrals as required.

• Keep timely and precise documentation within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Work together with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and all pertinent state laws.

• Candidates must hold a license in their respective state, with all credentials verified through the State Board’s website during the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active and verifiable license from one of the following Iowa licenses: LISW, LMFT, LMHC, or CADC, as well as your state of residence. All credentials must be verified through the State Board’s website as part of the application process.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.

• Committed to supporting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.

• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-driven startup environment.

• Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and dependable internet access.
