Acute Care Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Provide services across various emergency rooms, hospital medical units, and psychiatric crisis programs.

• Assess and treat patients experiencing crises, determining the most suitable level of care.

• Benefit from continuous support during your shift through a 24/7 access center that triages cases.

• Oversee and/or administer psychotherapeutic interventions and prescribe medication for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.

• Employ a collaborative care model within the partner healthcare treatment team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist.

• Possess unrestricted, independent licensure.

• Maintain established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles.

• Experience in delivering psychiatric care to patients of all age groups.

• Skilled in treating patients in acute crises and providing stabilization in 24/7 environments.

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care.

• Experience in utilizing multiple EMRs concurrently.

• Advanced technical skills, including proficiency with hardware (Laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software.
