Acquisition Sourcing Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Transform investment themes into specific target-company criteria and searchable market maps.

• Investigate fragmented industries, pinpoint owner-operated businesses, and enhance decision-maker data.

• Craft personalized outreach that reflects genuine knowledge of the company and its owner.

• Execute multi-channel outreach sequences and perform initial qualification calls.

• Keep accurate records of pipeline stages, notes, follow-ups, and reasons for disqualification.

• Evaluate performance based on qualified conversations with owners and actionable opportunities, rather than raw email volume.

⛳️ Requirements

• Located in Latin America with proficient English; fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in search funds, private equity, investment banking, corporate development, executive search, B2B sales, or related sourcing roles.

• Strong research acumen, concise writing skills, and a persistent yet respectful approach to follow-through.

• Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel, with a daily comfort level in utilizing a CRM.

• Helpful but not mandatory: Previous internship in a search fund or exposure to lower-middle-market transactions.

• Familiarity with tools such as Clay, Apollo, PitchBook, Capital IQ, Grata, HubSpot, or Affinity.

• A work sample demonstrating how you mapped a market or sourced difficult-to-find companies.
