This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Oversee and provide support to engineers in the acquisition domain, focusing on performance management, coaching, and task prioritization.
• Serve as the technical lead for acquisition engineering and facilitate team growth over time.
• Take responsibility for the engineering aspects related to acquisition, website experiences, and customer funnels, emphasizing the reduction of friction and enhancement of conversion rates.
• Develop and enhance the analytics, instrumentation, and observability required to assess funnel performance and conversion behavior.
• Work closely with Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Branding teams to ensure the delivery of compliant and effective regional experiences.
• Design and sustain a headless CMS architecture that accommodates both global and region-specific content.
• Create CMS-driven frontend applications utilizing React and TypeScript.
• Define and refine content models that address region-specific product offerings and regulatory requirements.
• Implement publishing workflows that allow for review and approval by regional compliance teams.
• Enhance the tools and workflows that link Design, content creation, and implementation.
• Collaborate with Design to execute and scale a unified design system across web platforms.
• Influence how content is generated, managed, and reused across various languages, regions, and compliance contexts.
• Uphold high standards for performance, accessibility, SEO, and visual quality across all regions.
• Leverage data to assess funnel performance and inform product and UX enhancements.
• Work together with backend engineers on API design when custom endpoints are necessary for web or CMS applications.
• Mentor fellow engineers and promote frontend and web platform best practices throughout the organization.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in building frontend applications utilizing TypeScript and React.
• Experience in directly managing engineers or leading teams with defined people management responsibilities.
• Proven experience in hiring, coaching, and developing engineering talent.
• Demonstrated ownership of web acquisition surfaces, including marketing sites, landing pages, customer funnels, or onboarding journeys.
• Proficient in analytics, funnel measurement, and acquisition observability with a strong understanding of product and business implications, capable of guiding product and engineering decisions.
• Extensive experience with headless CMS platforms and content-rich applications.
• Experience in supporting multi-region or localized web experiences.
• Strong comprehension of frontend architecture, performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Experience collaborating closely with Design teams and implementing design systems.
• Solid background in consuming and shaping REST APIs to meet frontend requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for systems relied upon by others.
• Experience in leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving Engineering, Design, Marketing, and business stakeholders.
• A proven track record of enhancing team efficiency, delivery workflows, or internal tooling related to content and web operations.
• Ability to make pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions, particularly concerning CMS and web tools.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including technical direction, mentoring, and team management.
