Accounts Receivable Customer Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete accounts receivable cycle, ensuring invoicing, collections, and reconciliations are conducted promptly and accurately.

• Create and send precise invoices to clients for services rendered.

• Update and maintain customer accounts, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time.

• Communicate effectively with delinquent customers through outbound collection calls.

• Document payments in the system and reconcile them with outstanding invoices.

• Follow up on accounts that are overdue, liaising with customers to resolve payment issues and secure timely collections.

• Generate and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and cash flow projections.

• Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure financial records are precise.

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes related to invoices or payments.

• Recognize and implement enhancements in the accounts receivable process to increase efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure seamless operations and accurate reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree.

• 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field, preferably within the automotive or service industry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.

• Previous experience in collections is advantageous.

• Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
