Accounts Payable Accountant – Solar, Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Invoice Processing: Examine, verify, and manage invoices from vendors and subcontractors in line with company policies and procedures.

• Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payments to vendors, which includes electronic transfers, checks, and ACH transactions.

• Vendor Management: Keep precise records of all vendor accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and address any issues related to payments or invoicing.

• NetSuite Utilization: Employ NetSuite for accounts payable tasks, such as invoice entry, payment processing, and financial reporting. Ensure that data entry in the system is accurate and up-to-date.

• Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to guarantee that all transactions are correctly recorded in NetSuite.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements regarding accounts payable processes.

• Reporting: Create and analyze accounts payable reports to offer insights and support financial decision-making.

• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the finance team, project managers, and other departments to address and resolve any accounts payable-related concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in accounts payable, preferably within the Solar or Construction sectors.

• Software: Proficiency in NetSuite is essential; familiarity with other accounting software is advantageous.

• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding organizational abilities, and the capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and efficiently resolving issues.
