
Accounting/Financial Vendor Analyst – CPA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Analyze incoming data from risk adjustment vendors and determine financial penalties based on contractual performance.
• Assist in contract negotiations by conducting cost analysis, estimating ROI, and forecasting budgets.
• Conduct credit and reimbursement true-up analyses upon project completion.
• Create innovative methods to validate, gather, and organize vendor data utilizing VBA.
• Supply information necessary for vendor audits.
• Address ad-hoc requests from stakeholders promptly.
• Act as a subject matter expert in vendor analytics.
• Review and verify all submitted invoices.
• Evaluate the quality and timeliness of incoming data from risk adjustment vendors.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or another analytical field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in accounting is required.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting entries, accruals, and the month-end closing process is necessary.
• Experience with Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming is advantageous.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically Workday, is beneficial.
• Background in Billing, Purchasing, or Procurement is preferred.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial risk adjustment is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming with SAS or SQL is an added advantage.
