This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Evaluates and interprets financial information, documentation, and both manual and automated accounting systems.
β’ Operates under the guidance of an auditor or financial analyst.
β’ Responsibilities may involve travel on occasion.
β’ Must be able to obtain and sustain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance before commencing work (candidates do not need to have clearance at the time of application).
β’ Legally authorized to work in the United States.
β’ Capable of functioning effectively in a fully remote setting.
β’ Possession of a two-year degree in accounting or a four-year degree in a related discipline (such as finance, business, banking, or economics) with 30 credit hours in accounting.
β’ With the approval of the COR, relevant experience in financial and accounting roles performing technical duties in accounting, banking, or finance for corporations or non-profit organizations may be considered as a substitute for educational and credit requirements.
β’ Experience within banking institutions.
β’ Familiarity with manual and automated accounting systems utilized by banks, financial institutions, and other organizations.
β’ Strong oral and written communication skills.
