Accounting & Finance Systems Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, manage, and sustain the NetSuite ERP platform across its active modules, ensuring stability, security, and effective operations.

• Oversee and regulate supporting accounting and finance platforms (such as Ramp, Datarails, and future systems), maintaining uniform security, access, documentation, and change management standards throughout the entire stack.

• Configure and manage custom records, fields, forms, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, roles, and permissions within the NetSuite environment.

• Handle both sandbox and production environments, including deployments, release cycles, and adherence to platform governance standards.

• Assist and supervise SuiteScript customizations, workflows, and automation initiatives in accordance with NetSuite best practices.

• Design and maintain integrations between NetSuite and associated finance systems, ensuring that data flows are dependable, auditable, and correctly reconciled.

• Function as an internal consultant to Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and Technology leadership.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and implementation partners on enhancements, integrations, and ERP projects.

• Manage support tickets, escalations, and vendor relationships for all systems under this role's jurisdiction.

• Ensure adherence to security, access control, audit, retention, and governance standards.

• Assist with reporting, dashboards, and financial visibility tools within NetSuite and related platforms.

• Promote training, onboarding, and user adoption across the finance systems stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience across various modules – this is non-negotiable.

• Experience managing ERP implementation, enhancement, or systems optimization projects from start to finish, including coordination with external implementation partners.

• Strong comprehension of accounting and finance workflows, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial close, and reporting procedures.

• Experience in administering supporting finance platforms such as Ramp, Datarails, Brex, Adaptive, or comparable tools.

• Technical proficiency across NetSuite's customization and integration toolkit – SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteTalk REST/SOAP, middleware, and API-driven methods.

• Proven ability to act as an internal consultant – proactively engaging with business stakeholders, translating challenges into system-driven solutions, and effectively communicating across finance, operations, and technology teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation certification is also preferred.
